How To Do a Screen Capture on iPhone

Things You'll Need
  • An iPhone (of course ..)

Instructions

    • 1
Turn on the iPhone and navigate to any screen -- a Web page, any app screen or email.
If it shows on the screen, you can photograph it.
    • 2
Locate the "Home" button centered under the screen and the "On/Off" button located on the top right edge of the iPhone.
    • 3
Click the "Home" and the "On/Off" button at the same time and release. Do not hold the buttons down, or the iPhone thinks you want it to shut off. You will hear a clicking noise that sounds just like the IPhone's camera.
    • 4
Press the "Home" button once to return to the home screen and tap the "Photos" icon. Tap "Camera Roll" to open the album. There you will see the screenshot you just took.
